As Director of Marketing and Communications at Neom SC, he architects the club’s identity, crafts compelling narratives and oversees all social media and content initiatives for a global audience. He also consults for emerging ventures, guiding executive teams on sponsorship, digital strategy and storytelling. In 2025, he served as Director of Communications for Clube Atlético Mineiro, one of Brazil’s premier football clubs. From January 2019 to June 2022, he was Senior Vice President of Communications at Orlando City SC and Orlando Pride—leading PR, broadcast and digital divisions through pivotal moments, including the pandemic, and earning the Sports Business Journal Social Media Team of the Year award and two Emmys. Prior to his club roles, Diogo led Octagon Brazil’s communications arm (2010–2014), spearheading press and marketing campaigns for legends such as Kaká (21 years), Roberto Carlos, Cafu, Neymar and Paulo Ganso. During his four years at AB InBev, he coordinated media strategy for the Brazilian National Team and managed communications for superstars Kaká and Ronaldo, delivering campaigns that resonated on five continents.
