Dion Fernandez

My primary objective is to consistently meet and exceed expectations within any role I undertake. I prioritize aligning professional goals with the mission and values of the company I represent. Whether navigating high-pressure environments, acquiring new technical or interpersonal skills, or engaging with challenging clients, I remain composed, adaptable, and solution focused. I bring reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of accountability to every task I take on.

I have little prior job experience.However, while my workplace experience is limited, I still have plenty of skills and a constant desire to learn.

I was enrolled at MPTC to earn my Welding Degree, and as part of that program I have also taken a college level math class, Business mathematics, as well as classes pathing proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excell, Powerpoint). Throughout Middle and High School I was in advanced Maths programs, and even placed within the top 20 in a 'Mathlete' competition. I also excell in other subjects such as; English-Language Arts (Reading and Writing comprehension), as well as Science courses. This shows I can pay attention to instructions, follow important safety procedures, and have a willingness to learn. Like most older siblings, I was also tasked very often with watching my younger siblings. I never had a problem with that, and often welcomed it as an opportunity to earn some money and practise responsibility. As time passes, and I gain employment experience I hope to fill this category more showing first-hand both my willingness to learn and constant growth.
