  • As the Senior Systems Administrator\Infrastructure Architect my primary responsibilities are designing, configuring and maintaining multiple Local Area Networks to be included within the global Wide Area Network
  • Florida Tile as a subsidiary of the Panaria Group has offices in Italy, India, the USA and over 130 countries
  • Daily duties include the security and maintenance of multiple data centers which include; Azure AD, Microsoft 365, hybrids of Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
  • Multiple Hyper-V Clusters, VMware ESXi hosts containing the Cisco phone system servers, several storage devices, training the user base, tier 3 support for the service desk, and budgeting
  • Accomplishments thus far include; acknowledgement and praise from CEO and management for identifying and correcting an SD-WAN networking issue that caused extremely slow connections for more than two years afflicting Florida Tile’s west coast offices
  • Successfully moving the IT infrastructure of the Seattle office from Renton to Kent, WA with minimal disruption to the user and customer base

  • In a Windows Server 2003 (upgraded from Server 2000) environment, I was responsible for the installation of patches, upgrades, workstations, networked copiers, printers, scanners, plotters and other peripherals
  • I also monitored network performance, maintained a disaster recovery plan and system backups
  • The development of the Metallurgy Laboratory monitoring application, called MetLab was designed in Visual Basic 6 with an SQL Server back-end
