- As the Senior Systems Administrator\Infrastructure Architect my primary responsibilities are designing, configuring and maintaining multiple Local Area Networks to be included within the global Wide Area Network
- Florida Tile as a subsidiary of the Panaria Group has offices in Italy, India, the USA and over 130 countries
- Daily duties include the security and maintenance of multiple data centers which include; Azure AD, Microsoft 365, hybrids of Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
- Multiple Hyper-V Clusters, VMware ESXi hosts containing the Cisco phone system servers, several storage devices, training the user base, tier 3 support for the service desk, and budgeting
- Accomplishments thus far include; acknowledgement and praise from CEO and management for identifying and correcting an SD-WAN networking issue that caused extremely slow connections for more than two years afflicting Florida Tile’s west coast offices
- Successfully moving the IT infrastructure of the Seattle office from Renton to Kent, WA with minimal disruption to the user and customer base
- Implementing new policies and procedures to improve IT processes, along with a multitude of other standard operating procedure upgrades and redefinitions.

- The Commonwealth of Kentucky contracts with Kentucky Interactive to host, build, maintain and market “eGovernment” services
- Primary responsibilities include designing, configuring, scripting and maintaining the Local Area Networks on-premises and in Azure

- My primary project when coming to KII was to convert the physical network into a virtual one
- This involved virtualizing 60+ servers, in the Production and Test environments
- The conversion was accomplished with minimal down-time in just 4 months

- In a Windows Server 2003 (upgraded from Server 2000) environment, I was responsible for the installation of patches, upgrades, workstations, networked copiers, printers, scanners, plotters and other peripherals
- I also monitored network performance, maintained a disaster recovery plan and system backups
- The development of the Metallurgy Laboratory monitoring application, called MetLab was designed in Visual Basic 6 with an SQL Server back-end
- This application automated the manual process of monitoring statistical data, heat-coding, specification analysis, certification, and created a Certificate of Compliance
- The Met Lab Supervisor noted that the automated process increased productivity over 90%, stating “what normally took two people nearly two hours to complete, now takes one person twenty-five minutes.”
