I am very excited about the opportunity to work as the Aquatics Director for the Marin YMCA! I began my career journey at the Marin Y as a lifeguard on June 2024. In Nov. 2024, I was promoted to Lead Lifeguard Instructor and have been working in that capacity for about 1 1/2 years. I have also been working as an independent contractor for about 2 years teaching private swim lessons and lifeguarding for private events. I just recently completed the YMCA Lifeguard Supervisor and Swim Instructor certifications. During my time working at the Marin YMCA, I have built strong relationships with both staff and community members alike. I am confident that the Aquatics Director position would be a wonderful contribution towards my own personal and professional growth by taking my many years of lower supervisory experience to the next level. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to serve our Marin Y community in this new role, while promoting the success of an organization that I love. Thank you so much for your consideration, and I look forward to continue to build community with this amazing team that I have been blessed to work with!
