Examples: walk-in nail trim/dremel, Flea & tick bath(with tick pull) &/or dip treatment, calming bath, brush, ears & nails, That first time puppy (I perform desensitizing on the 1st day to all instruments for bathing groom & the bath/dry process, A quick neat-tidy up, Full body shave down, traditional/standard breed cuts, breed show cuts, athletic breed cut/trims, End of live services, A Quick & calm delivery ready with a good wide short sanitary/potty area shave, short nursing shave on hairier breeds for pups to latch)-bathing/grooming is to be handled after pups are born & weaned off- Even High Stress can be critical for mamas & their puppies.
  • When all safety measures, handling techniques, biting preventatives, etc. have been reached. and the dog is having health related issues(previous of apt), any high anxiety, occasional over weight(cant stand), or any signs of being overstimulated. I communicate & explain the given situation, and have them come pick up there pup. Then work together to help with techniques for future bathing/grooming services.

  • Attended the grooming academy for 6 weeks with learning hands on grooming and book studies for the anatomy of the dog, and learned about different breeds, and their specific breed cuts.
  • I then completed the grooming academy where I then received my grooming certificate for completion.
  • Was shown/taught the do's and the don'ts for grooming dogs.
  • Learned that there are many different types of stress factors for all dogs.
