- Overseen the Honolulu Pipeline where Jet Fuel, Gasoline and Low Sulfur Diesel was delivered to the customers.

- Overseen the Single Point Mooring (SPM), either receiving Crude oil or other products. As well as deliveries to the SPM.

- Led on-shift safety meetings with the crew. Reviewed and discussed any issues or unsafe conditions that might occur while on-shift. Troubleshoot and brainstorm with the operators.
- Coordinated with maintenance, environmental, and oils planning teams to maintain operations.
Oils Planner
3 Years- As an Oils Planner and being part of the Oils Planning Group, the Planner's job consisted of discussing products (Jet Fuel, Gasoline, Low Sulfur Diesel, Bunker Fuel Oil, Propane) and volumes in barrels and what and how much is needed for delivery to different customers (Signature in Honolulu, Aloha Petroleum in Honolulu, PAR's Low Sulfur Diesel in Honolulu, Aloha Petroleum in Kapolei and IES in Kapolei).
- Coordinated the deliveries to customers based on what product and how much barrels are needed.
- Wrote orders for Process Unit and Tankfarm Area, providing instructions to ensure production of specified products.
- Wrote delivery orders for the Honolulu Pipeline, Kalealoa Barge Harbor (for Barges, Mother Ships and sometimes Tanker Ships), PAR West Refinery and HECO delivery orders.
- Discussed potential product shortages with various teams due to production issues in the Process Unit.
- Coordinated with Environmental department if a certain product holding tank will need special Environmental papers submitted to EPA due to a certain maintenance schedule with that tank.
- Made blends for off-spec Jet Fuel, Gasoline, Low Sulfur Diesel, Propane, Bunker Fuel Oil. Blends are needed to get the product back on spec.
Plant Operator
7 Years 7 Months- As a Lead Distribution Operator (LDO), I oversaw everything that went on in the Tankfarm. Every transfer, delivery and maintenance.
- Coordinated start and stop of deliveries to Honolulu Pipeline, Kalealoa Barbers Point Harbor, Single Point Mooring (SPM), Aloha Petroleum, PAR West Refinery, and HECO via IES. Also deliveries to Aloha Petroleum in Kapolei, PAR West Refinery, and to HECO via IES.
- Supervised all operators on my crew and monitored alarms for the Waste Treatment Plant (WTU) and the Fuel Treatment Plant (FTP).
- This was strictly an inside operator job, sitting at the board monitoring everything that went on in the Tankfarm.
Plant Operator
13 Years- I was qualified as a Wastewater Operator in the Waste Treatment Unit (WTU).
- Samples were pulled daily and weekly to ensure water quality was on-spec.
- The WTU received oily/water from the whole entire refinery. Everything ended up here at the WTU.
- Separated oil from water at WTU; clean water returned to ground via wells #3 and #4, with oversight from Environmental department and third-party contractor.
- Maintained compliance with monitoring standards set by DOH and EPA.
Jet Engine Mechanic
20 Years 1 Month- Served as Jet Engine Mechanic for F100 engine on F15 Eagle, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Transitioned to F119 engine for F22 Raptor, contributing to advanced aircraft capabilities.
- Conducted engine teardown, buildup, and test ran engines at Test Cell, verifying operational readiness and compliance.
- Installed and removed engines from both the F15 and F22. Conducted inspections in the engine bay area on the aircraft.
Plant Operator
12 Years 3 Months- Worked as as Distribution Operator. I was qualified as a Fuel Treatment Plant (FTP) operator. This FTP treated Low Sulfur Fuel Oil, which was strictly for Kalealoa Cogeneration plant that was next door to PAR East Refinery.
- Qualified as Barge Harbor Operator, loading Barges, Mother Ships, and Tanker Ships at Kalealoa Barbers Point Harbor.
- I did Pipeline inspections at that time, there were weekly and monthly inspections to comply with. With the Pipeline down, I did visual inspections on the pipeline and stroked each mainline valve for proper operations
- Conducted weekly and monthly pipeline inspections to ensure compliance.
Plant Operator
3 Years 1 Month- March 1991 to April 1994: worked in the Hydrogen Unit (HGU) as a plant operator. As a HGU operator, I also qualified to oversee the Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU I, II, and III). Also the Scott Unit and Sulfur Prilling Unit.
- Maintained pumps, vessels, and other equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Executed LOTO procedures on equipment to prepare for safe maintenance activities.
