Work History

Chief Operating Officer

Western Land Services, Inc
2007 - 12.2012

Overall corporate responsibilities, with a focus on personnel, business development, divisional expansion, corporate finance, billable matters, and accounts receivable issues. Worked closely with the company's Chief Financial Officer, the Department Managers, and Project Managers for the Western United States.

I was afforded the opportunity to become a minority interest company owner, accountable directly to the President and, of course, to our clients.

General Manager

Western Land Services, Inc
1998 - 2007

I became General Manager while still working out of the corporate headquarters in Michigan. I assumed management responsibilities for our new offices and efforts based in Sheridan, Wyoming.

During this period, I developed "in-house" services and specialties in Water Management, Wildlife Biology, Land Surveying and Archaeology. These were consistent with the needs in developing coalbed methane wells on both Federally owned minerals and surface rights. And in response to the State's water management and discharge requirements. I also worked to continue to build our Land and Title staff in addition to the above specialties.

Permit Coordinator

Western Land Services, Inc.
05.1995 - 06.1998

I became the Permit Coordinator responsible for preparing, submitting, and shepherding drilling permit applications, surface use permits, water management and discharge authorizations, federal drilling permits, and those for injection wells. Personally, I permitted many thousands of well drilling permits and other associated authorizations on a state and federal basis.
