Seasoned entrepreneur and former Loss Prevention Manager at Lowe's, I leveraged skills in business management and relationship building to grow my landscaping company, achieving over 60 regular accounts. After the birth of my 3rd daughter I left my position at Lowe’s and started my own landscaping company. I started off small and every year I grew my business up with a few employees so I could work and be home when needed. I grew my company to over 60 regular accounts both residential and commercial. I worked alongside my crew everyday to ensure the jobs were completed and done to my standards. I kept my customers happy and in return most of my customers stayed with me for years until my retirement in 2016.
I was responsible for the safety and security of all Connecticut stores During that time Lowe’s was expanding into New England and I was in charge of store setups in Massachusetts and Rhode Island to insure a smooth transition for new staff and ensure the stores where setup with all safety and security equipment such as PPE and Loss Prevention equipment like cameras and anti theft front end alarms I worked with the local Police and Fire Depts to insure codes were met prior to store opening and the hiring and training of new Loss Prevention staff before store opening
