- During a major ice storm incident, Quadcom911 lost all power and was unable to handle the large call volume resulting from power lines failing and catching fire in our jurisdiction. As per our protocol, relocated to the Elgin 911 dispatch center, and worked as the sole call taker for all 9 jurisdictions using unfamiliar computer systems and a portable radio. Remained calm and composed for multiple hours, handling all emergency calls until power was restored at Quadcom.
