I would use a hand held jack hammer and remove slag from metal train parts. I would assemble gears and fittings to parts ensuring each part worked as described. I used a high powered grinding wheel to remove and smooth slag ensuring proper fitting mechanisms into train part. The parts I mainly worked on were bolsters, hitches and couplers. This involved quite a bit of muscle and team work with other employees. You were required to do eight in a given shift. I completed fifteen in a given shift and often was given several to fix so the mechanics would work. Often I would work overtime to improve my skills.

I have worked at the Dayton Food Pantry for three years. I drove the truck to pickup food and delivered food to location. While at location I would unload the truck and restock shelves as needed. I kept the pantry clean and organized and made myself available .

I currently volunteer for the Village of Gowanda maintaining one of our parks called Chang Hu Park . I weed gardens, dig out trees and prune bushes and trees to keep out park looking nice.

I also do volunteer work at our church maintaining things when they break as well as adding additional necessities to improve security and safety for patrons.

I am currently involved with our neighborhood watch program ensuring the safety of our community. This involves approaching people who may have mental issue problems, homelessness or drug use. I offer help and assistance to those who may want to get clean. I take and discard any used needles and offer Narcan to help save a life.

I am always looking for ways to make someone elses day a little better. I look for opurtunity's to help people.
