Skilled in the care of elderly parents.

The employment gap on this resume is the result of my care giving to my parents.  As they reached an elderly age, they needed me to live in their residence to provide daily assistance and specific nutrition, as recommended by their doctors.  I was also needed for doctor's appointments, hospital visits, housekeeping duties, laundry, cooking, and general care of my parents and their home.

It is my desire to return to the workplace since both parents have passed away.  I am looking forward to resuming my profession as a dietetic technician, which was delayed due to familial responsibilities.
