* Prepare patients for urologic procedures including cystoscopies, vasectomies. prostate biospies, lithopriosy. etc..

* Perform pre-op assessements, obtain vital signs, review medical history and medications.

* Administer IV's, medications, and other duties as assigned

*Monitor patients in the PACU for recovery and discharge readiness.

*Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR

*Ensure compliance with infection control and ASC protocols

* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

* Perform patient assessments including vital signs, symptom evaluation and treatment tolerance

* Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, supportive care medications and injections per protocols.

* Educate patients and families about treatment plans, side effect, management, and home care.

*Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene promptly using clinical judgment.

*Manage central lines, access ports and perform blood draws as needed.

* Triage patient calls and coordinate follow- up care or emergency referrals.

* Document care accurately in the EMR.

*Maintain up to date knowledge of oncology and protocols and safety guidelines.

*Coordinate medical transportation for patients with mobility or access challenges.

*Facilitate prior authorizations for oral and IV chemotherapy medications by coordinating with pharmacies and insurance companies.

*Collaborate with specialty pharmacies and patient assistance programs to minimize delays and out of pocket costs.

*Maintain accurate records of authorization status and communication in the EMR.
