Donna DuBain

Passionate Teacher with experience developing and implementing diverse curriculums covering wide range of subjects. Highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive classroom instruction and observation. Successful in helping students develop strong literacy, numeracy, social and learning skills.

After graduating college I worked primarily in theatre as a performer. I am a founding member of The Groundlings and studied with the godmother of Improvisation Viola Spolin and currently perform and teach for the Spolin Players.

I have had the honor of working with The Virginia Avenue Project which combined professional artists with at risk kids to engage in the writing, acting and creative efforts that give them a safe space to grow.

I worked at The American Film Institute for several years working with filmmakers and grant programs.

I also have a strong bookkeeping background and have been the controller for a prominent Design/Graphics company.
