I work with two mental handicap men. I attend doctor’s appointments with them to be their voice on what medical treatments they need. We start our day out with doing blood pressure and glucose readings and then they take their meds. I make sure they do the chores that’s on their list. I drive them to where ever they want to go. We have fun days of picnics and movies.

• Understood and followed oral and written directions.
• Completed day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.

• Maintained accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior reports.
• Facilitated small group instruction and activities for students of varying abilities.
• Observed student performance in order to assess progress towards academic goals.

I attended field trips with them with regular ed students. We also was included in regular ed classroom work and the TCAP.

• Greeted parents at school events to provide information about curriculum and activities.
