I only speak English. When I work I want to help the resident to make life for them easier. I am a certified nursing assistant and certified medication aid. I work hard to learn new things so I can take care of my patient . I have took care of people that was coming off drugs, patient that had strokes, even patients with dementia and even took care of people with in the last stage of life. I have been their to help with caring for the patient and helping the family in the hours of need. My job is to take care of people that needs my help and can\'t do for their self.

I was the one to give medication. When giving medication you need to make sure you have the right person, the right time, the route which is how you give medication. You always double check medication to make sure it is all right. When you give the medication you go back and sign the chart this means that you give the medication you cant leave empty hole in the records if you do state can say you didn\'t do your job.

My job was to make sure that the patient\'s I had was dressed, hair brushed and fixed the way they wanted it. I gave showers, shaved them make sure they was clean and dry. I would also talk with them cause they where my family and I loved them all. If they got sick, hurt by falling or just need a hug I would give them one. I know as a nursing assisted you aren\'t suppose to get close but you do. I am not perfect but I am a great team player. I get along well with other. You learn you are part of a team and respect goes a long way. I have been told we are angels but to me my job is my pride. I come into work I don\'tmiss unless I am really sick. I have been one that comes in early and to leave late if Iwas needed to.

My job was to clean hospital rooms in any area that need to be cleaned. You always knock on the patient doors and tell them who you are and what you needed to do some would say come on in and others would say no. I cleaned rooms that had blood all over them to rooms that wasn\'t bad at all. I also had people that was under me they where my team. They knew I would help them when ever they needed me too. The hours where long and the job got harder so I decide to go to school and can under my belt.
