Monitored and cared for patients during extended hospital stays of a month or more for effects of that treatment especially bone marrow suppression.

Educated family members and caregivers on disease processes, treatments and side effects. Supported patients and families during treatment which was often for years for leukemia patients.

Coordinated the outpatient breast cancer clinic for two years.

Maintained the national Oncology nurse certification and ACLS certification.
