I have a strong passion for Golf Course Management. It was always my goal to work in the sports industry in some capacity as I progressed through secondary school and that is why I studied Business with Sports Management in The Limerick Institiute of Technology.
I worked with Clare GAA as a Games Development Officer which was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. On completion of my college degree I began working on the family farm as a greyhound trainer before I began my career in greenskeeping in July 2020.
I am a reliable, trustworthy, organised, enthusiastic and hardworking person and I have always had a great rapport with everyone I have worked with. I love meeting new people, I am highly motivated and I enjoy new challenges.
I am currently on a training internship at Seminole Golf Club through the Ohio State University
The experience I have gained to date is as follows:
I volunteered for the 2024 Solheim Cup in Virginia. My main jobs for the week were mowing fairways for the AM shift and hand watering and filling divots for the PM shift
