  • Responsible for oversight of Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby unit, NICU, Pediatric and Women departments as well as Infant hearing, family support services, nursing support services and house supervisors.
  • Manage administrative operations for over 200 employees.
  • Implemented childbirth education program with new Web based registration and payment.
  • Restructured outpatient lactation program by hiring additional lactation consultants and moving appointment scheduling to online. Implemented clinic fees for outpatient appointments with anticipated revenue of approx. $30,000.00 per year.
  • Coordinated revision and implementation of critical capacity management plan to streamline patient throughput within organization
  • Established process for agency invoice workflow to improve timeliness of invoice submission.
  • Developed, and in process of implementing, Nursing Leadership program. Go live date May 2024

  • Managed/supervised day to day operations of LDRP department. Oversight included all human resources management and fiscal responsibility of departments.
  • Restructured LDRP department by dividing into two cost centers; Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby unit to more accurately capture financial data and nursing productivity.
  • Collaborated and partnered with women's surgical services to provide PACU services to the post op cesarean patients within the L&D department to limit separation of mother and baby.
  • Instrumental in development and implementation of post partum hemorrhage initiative.
  • Added charge capture analyst and patient access representative to L&D department to streamline workflow and decrease lost revenue
  • Developed obstetrical technician program, converted clinical associate role to obstetrical technician role to provide timely and efficient care of patients requiring cesarean sections. With restructure to primary nursing model, added additional nursing FTE's and reduce nurse/patient ratio from 6:1 to 3:1.
  • Chair of Policy and Procedure Committee. Developed, research and implement all policy and procedures for LDRP department.
  • Basic, intermediate, and AWHONN advanced fetal monitoring course instructor as well as Neonatal Resuscitation Regional trainer
