Working as a QA Lead, I am responsible for assuring that the field personnel complete their reports daily. I monitor their performance for completeness, accuracy from the information provided by the CAD system and that they are following protocol when giving patient care.
I am responsible for giving a report daily at our morning meetings of that completion of EPCRs and notification to the Team of any issues that needs attention pertaining to incomplete EPCRs.
I monitor new personnel so if they need further assistance with their EPCRs, I am able to give one on one assistance to better their documentation. I assist crews daily as needed. I do focus analysis of personnel who may need further care with their patient care skills for following protocol. I work closely with billing to assure that all reports are billable, so there is not a long waiting period to bill.
This includes reports that billing has sent back and missing EPCRs.
The systems I work on daily are; Traumasoft, HealthEMS and Excel. At this time, since my accident in 2020, I am a non-functioning Paramedic.
I do have my Paramedic card with re-newel of my CPR card on August 9th 2023.
During this time period, I was working full time at Community Care and part time / running from home at Jefferson Rescue.
After 1995 I taught the EMT class at the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School.
