Inpatient and outpatient Internal Medicine with a focus on primary care and outpatient medicine while also completing self guided research on current Osteoporosis screening and treatment practices, joined research on VA Home based primary care program and presented clinical vignette on Page Kidney at ACP conference as well as attending yearly ACP advocacy conferences meeting with local lawmakers about important public health issues.

• Coordinator/Financial Officer for our completely student run Touro's Women's Clinic in Berkeley, treating women suffering from homelessness, past or present abuse or who just had poor access to healthcare
• We took a detailed history and physical for each patient, lending an ear to their troubles and treating their ailments with osteopathic manipulative treatment whether their pain was from sleeping on concrete, past injuries or just from a lack of regular care. These women began looking forward to these appointments weekly and their trust in the healthcare system slowly increased
• I was the coordinator responsible for securing preceptors for each clinic allowing me to deepen my relationships with my professors
• I also volunteered as transportation and treated patients at each clinic while orienting volunteers and guiding them through clinic, inspiring them to carry on the tradition for the next year
• As the financial officer, I created our budget and handled purchasing

• I served on the admissions committee as a student interviewer
• Prepared questions and made admission decisions on incoming Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine students while also giving campus tours to prospective students

• This job opened my eyes to the health of my community before ever even shadowing a doctor
• I got my 215 license and began working with an insurance company to set up policies for Union city and healthcare workers
• We went through extensive health questionnaires and swabbed for tobacco and drug use
• This opened a huge door for me to inadvertently witness the prevalence of diseases in the tri county area of South Florida and gain insight into medication noncompliance
• And for each family you met with, their referrals would reach far and wide. I was able to witness, first hand, many less than ideal living conditions; large areas of section 8 housing, communities of undocumented individuals living in trailer homes, elderly left to fend for themselves, young adults fresh out of orphanages still being monitored by government officials. All while being able to sit and share meals with them, learn about their journeys and help protect their families. This was by far my most humbling experience

• API was an active pharmaceutical ingredient wholesaler, providing the raw materials for pharmacies to compound with
• I began the position by learning how to source raw materials directly from China, India, Taiwan and Germany, formed relationships with manufacturers and worked directly with our sister company in China
• I managed the relationships with the analytical research laboratories for our 3rd party testing, the logistics team and held courses teaching our sales team about the pharmaceutical products we offered customers, the mechanism of action, drugs to use in synergy and how they were sourced
• I was in charge of the team submitting our National Drug Codes to the FDA for billing, was a head on the build out team of 2 of our packaging sites (one in Florida and one in Michigan), studying and implementing cGMP guidelines and served as a representative in our meetings with the FDA and during Pharmaceutical conferences

• I got my pharmacy tech license quickly, becoming registered and certified in 5 short weeks
• New Era was a closed door compounding pharmacy much more like a lab than a pharmacy, with 2 standard clean rooms, a lyophilizer and a Chemo clean room
• We made creams, tablets, capsules, injectables and lyophilized powder, specializing in hormone replacement therapy and pain management
• I managed from start to finish 4 of our customer clinic orders daily while learning about the compounding process, Board of Pharmacy audits, pharmacy billing and was promoted soon after
