Financial Coordinator for Adult & Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant & CAR-T program

• Transplant and pharmacy benefit check
• Secure insurance authorization for all aspects of bone marrow transplant and CAR-T procedures
• Work closely with clinical trials
• Establish and maintain close relationships with providers, nurse coordinators, social work, research coordinators, financial counseling, pharmacy, insurance case managers, contracting, billing and hospital administration
• Understand global case rates and single case agreements as applicable to procedure

Centralized Managed Care

• Radiology - included getting insurance authorizations for all diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine appointments
• Requires an understanding of specialty practices and what they are looking for or to rule out when scheduling diagnostic testing.

Hematology/Medical/Surgical Oncology

• Managed care
• Scheduling (new patients, chemotherapy, diagnostic imaging)
• Time keeping
• Reconciliation
• Customer service (clinic flow, multi-line phones)
