  • Chief of the Construction Inspection and Management Branch (CIMB) of the California Department of General Services. Led a team of 62 construction supervisors/inspectors in four (4) Area Offices throughout the State responsible for construction management and supervision, construction inspection, quality assurance, contract and code compliance, and coordination of inspections by authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Led the procurement, development, roll out, initial implementation and customization of Digital project management software, Procore, leading to full implementation in 2019. This transformed how the staff and all the stakeholders on a construction project work together, greatly improving communication, collaboration and involvement, creating efficiencies in accessing and distributing project documentation in real time.
  • Improved work conditions and moral for the field staff, improved branch services, and increased customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitored progress towards achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborated with regional management to develop strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth in key performance areas for the branch.
  • Provided training and training resources for the staff and stakeholders by creating a custom training center and monthly workshop sessions via MS Teams.
