- Install and maintain Cameron and GE wellhead systems on offshore oil platforms in Newfoundland.
- Fill in as the day shift lead wellhead technician for each section of drilling operations on the Hebron and Hibernia platforms.
- Take on responsibility as the slotted lead technician for the upcoming West White Rose platform. Participate in SITs held in Romania and locally in St. John's.
- Lead in creating new procedures and lessons learned for specialized equipment, specific to each project.
- Provide training and conduct competency assessments on new technicians and field engineers to aid in the progression of their careers.
- Safe and efficient troubleshooting capabilities, with all associated wellhead and tree equipment, when issues arise, to minimize downtime.
- Work with well intervention teams prior to and after breaking containment on wells by performing inflow and pressure tests as well as operating side-entry hydraulic lubricators for workovers.
- Work with production teams when they are performing well maintenance by servicing all valves installed on Xmas trees and wellheads when required.
- Regularly maintain, service, and repair HPUs and grease pumps.
- Keep a routinely updated inventory list of tools, equipment, and consumables offshore via an Excel spreadsheet.
- Create and submit field tickets to customers, and upload them to the FDP program daily.
- Experience with DocuSign, Adobe PDF, and Excel.
