Douglas Organ

· Perform Electrical Inspections and Plan examination of all electrical projects in Broward County Schools to verify compliance with the NEC, SREF, Florida building and safety codes, Shop drawings, BCSB specifications and design criteria.

· Electrical inspector and Plan Examiner for an aggressive, $800 million construction bond throughout Broward County

· Supervise all testing and project progression to ensure contract compliance, schedules and deadlines are met.

· Organize and maintain inspection history through written reports, check lists, photos, and other media as required as well as completion of as-builts, punch lists, safety and quality control procedures.

· Provide Technical support supplying frequent advice and assistance to contractors and peers when requested.

· Direct and supervise electrical tradesmen and administrative staff, develop project schedules, conduct and preside over meetings, develop project scope and successful project completion.

· Responsibility for successful installations and perform preliminary inspections for all active projects.

· Facilitate preliminary plan examination for compliance with the NEC, SREF, Florida building and safety codes, SBBC & local regulations.

· Assure adherence to Safety Regulations, job schedule, budget, time and resources required to meet all project deadlines with a proven record of on time and early project completion.
