I was promoted to take over the Napa Valley and The North Bay. Keeping Sacramento as well. When I left Ports in end of 2012 I was managing over 3 Million Dollars in sales.

So over a 10 year period I worked for 3 different Barn Companies. Starting with MD at the end of 2000. I became the Salesman of the year my first year. Selling almost a million dollars in materials. All these positions were commission only.

With MD for the first 3 years I was making just under $100,000 a year. Barns by Harrah's and FCP was somewhere around $30- $40 thousand a year. The market was starting to slow as we got into 2008 and I was working for Ports as well.

My wife and I have been married for 27 years and she got me into running in 1992- Ran for 15 plus years, walk more now. We started riding horses in 1998 and I rode Endurance from 2001 till 2016. My wife still rides, I just help out, cleaning barn and feeding. We have 5 acres in the foothills and that keeps me fit.
