1997-2004: Specialized in general concrete construction, focusing on flatwork for driveways, walkways, patios, and pool decks. Expanded services to include the installation of concrete coatings and epoxy garage floors. Additionally, began crafting poured-in-place concrete countertops for residential kitchens. The business catered exclusively to residential clients.

2004-2010: Transitioned to a General Contractor role with a specialization in concrete and epoxy. Developed expertise in stamped concrete, decorative overlays, epoxy flooring, and poured-in-place structural concrete. During this period, also started constructing water features and pools. The business served an equal mix of residential and commercial clients.

2010-2017: Transitioned to a union business with a focus on structural concrete and poured-in-place architectural projects. Our services expanded significantly to include:

• Structural concrete for water treatment plants and schools, both above and below grade.
• Decorative poured-in-place architectural walls.
• Epoxy flooring systems for power plants and industrial applications.
• Epoxy and cement terrazzo flooring.
• Polished concrete.
• ADA corrections for improper sloping in existing school spaces.
• Waterproofing for above and below grade industrial/commercial structures.
• Architectural restoration of historic vertical buildings.
• Complete floor restoration for logistics centers.
• Floor leveling for large building rehabilitations.

Our work spanned military, municipal, large commercial, and some retail projects. We continued to build pools and hardscapes for residential clients, offering custom stonework, BBQ islands, water features, rock sculptures, and water slides. At our peak, we employed 175 staff members, with the business being 90% commercial and 10% residential.

2018-Present: Shifted the business focus, discontinuing all standard and structural concrete services. Our current offerings include:

• Epoxy and cement terrazzo
• Waterproofing
• Urethane cement
• Epoxy and all resinous coatings available in the industry
• Polished concrete
• Concrete restoration and preservation

The business now exclusively serves commercial clients

Scott’s award-winning designs for WOC Artistry Decorative Concrete were evaluated by experts from the ASCC’s Decorative Concrete Council. With two decades of experience and a spotless record with the BBB, he proudly holds an A+ rating, the highest achievable. Additionally, Scott serves as an expert advisor for various magazines and has developed his own innovative product, the first “Green” Self-leveling Polyurethane-Epoxy Cement (GSPEC™).

Scott has successfully managed a variety of projects, including the Balboa Bay Club, UCSF Library, Elleven High Rise, Historic Mission Inn Hotel and Spa, 2855 Stevens Creek Blvd - Eataly, 1810 Gateway Dr - Office Building, and The Loft Company - Office Building. These projects highlight his ability to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget. His expertise in decorative concrete, polished concrete, concrete placement, finishes and surfaces, as well as concrete materials and admixtures, has been crucial in driving our company’s success and upholding our reputation for quality and reliability.
