In my role, I provided patient supervision and served as a role model within a safe, therapeutic environment. As an advocate, I prioritized helping patients succeed in the therapeutic setting by utilizing trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing techniques. I ensured that patients adhered to the daily program schedule and led various group sessions, including AA, Strengths, CDED, Health & Wellness, and Kick Start Programming. Additionally, I made myself available for one-on-one support, offering positive, recovery-based guidance.
