- Joining the US Marine Corps immediately after high school provided me with invaluable leadership skills and a commitment to excellence. In the role of Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) overseeing logistics at the HQ level, I coordinated engineering equipment for the Squadron. Despite being the sole woman in the Engineering Division among 110 men, my dedication and hard work as a Heavy Equipment Operator earned me the esteemed title of "Marine of the Quarter" for two separate quarters.
