Consulting Background

I excel at taking very complicated data like weather information and breaking it down bringing meaning to it. I not only explain what happened during a weather event, but explain why it occurred. My expert reports are extremely detailed, including graphics specifically created for each weather scenario and create strong cases for my clients. I think one of my greatest strengths may be when I am testifying or public speaking as being a broadcaster and college professor for decades helps me to communicate effectively.

Two-time Emmy Award Winner

Received Emmys for excellence in television weather forecasting and for Dr. Jim's Weather Labs.
