
My career in law enforcement has provided me with a diverse and comprehensive background. I have severed with the Warren County Sheriff's Office, Independence Township Police Department, and the Warren County Prosecutor's Office. These roles have equipped me with a broad understanding of various aspects of law enforcement from patrol duties to complex investigations.
Since September of 2019, I have held the position of Detective Sergeant. I have supervised the Special Victims Unit, Megan's Law Unit, and the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner's Program, Additionally, I have served as the Coordinator of the Child Abduction Response Team, Co-Coordinator of the Warren County Regional Crime Scene Unit, a member of the Serious Crash Analysis Response Team, and the Warren County Prosecutor's Office human trafficking liaison.
From July of 2015 to October of 2019, I served as a Detective with the Warren County Prosecutor's Office, Initially I was assigned Special Victims Unit and later assigned the Major Crimes Unit. During this period, I conducted comprehensive criminal investigations across a diverse range of cases. I was an active member of the Warren County Regional Crime Scene Team, the Serious Crash Analysis Response Team, and the Child Abduction Response Team, contributing to critical incident responses and ensuring meticulous evidence collection. Additionally, I assumed the role of Human Trafficking Liaison and Bias Crimes Detective.
From May 2010 to June 2015, I served as a Detective with the Independence Township Police Department, where I undertook a broad spectrum of responsibilities. My roles included conducting criminal investigations, crime scene investigations, township patrol, field training, and compiling the monthly Uniform Crime Report. I also served as a member of the Warren County Regional Crime Scene Unit and the Child Abduction Response Team.
From May of 2009 to May of 2010, I served as a Patrolman with the Independence Township Police Department, where my primary responsibilities included conducting township patrols, diligently enforcing traffic regulations, and promptly responding to radio calls for service. I was was responsible for enforcement of criminal laws, ensuring the safety and security of the community through proactive policing strategies.
From July of 2006 to May of 2009, I served as a Sheriff's Officer with the Warren County Sheriff's Office. My primary responsibility was providing security at the Warren County Superior Courthouse. My duties included enforcing criminal laws within and around the courthouse premises, ensuring a safe environment for all visitors and personnel. In addition to courthouse security, I carried out responsibilities such as serving civil paperwork, executing criminal warrants, and executing child support warrants.
