Dulce Lopez Alcantar

In my current role as a Tribal Youth Program Coordinator, I am responsible for coordinating an after-school program with 10-15 daily participants ranging from ages 5-18 years old. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating a monthly calendar for the program and Tribal Community, creating an agenda for the Youth Program that features an educational or engaging activity, offering a daily snack, picking up the youth from the bus and providing transportation to the child's home at the end of the program day. In addition, I am, or have been in the past, responsible for attending Inter Tribal Sports Games, and hosting community events such as, 'Trunk-Or-Treat, a Christmas Party, and an Easter Event. I've also collaborated with other local Tribal Organizations, in the efforts to bring outreach, awareness, and involvement to the Iipay Nation Community and our surrounding youth. I attend bi-weekly or monthly meetings to ensure the smoothness of the Tribal Youth Program, monthly calendar brainstorming, and planning of events within the program.

• Resolved patron complaints with timely solutions
• Tracked player actions by noting buy-ins, length of play, wins and losses and average bet
• Processed player cards, vouchers, and any further request
• Assisted in inventory and telemarketing
• Provided solutions, recommendations and replacements with empathy and positive feedback
• Built strong relationships with players to ensure they felt at home while playing at Barona Casino
• Answered inbound calls to greet and assist customers with various needs and questions
• Placed outbound calls to existing members to provide additional consultation on products and services
• Hosted on the Casino floor by answering radio calls, attending to players needs and socializing with players.
