I am a 45 year old Police Officer/Detective with 23 years of Experience in the law enforcement and investigation environment with a commitment to maintaining high levels of safety and organization. Three years Experience as a Field Training Officer after working my 7 year limited term as a Detective. Skilled in identifying and evaluating potential threats. Adept at assessing risks and preventing security issues. Strong analytical abilities that allow me to synthesize complex data and identify patterns in real time. Trained in Open Source Intelligence Techniques allowing me to gather and analyze publicly available information. Extensive experience dealing with diverse individuals and situations that gives valuable insights into human behavior and motivations. Exposed to diverse communities and populations, enabling me to be sensitive to cultural differences, which is essential for successful intelligence analysis in the ever changing global context. Experience working in teams and liaising with various agencies, making me an effective communicator and collaborator. Strong understanding of the legal and ethical issues surrounding information gathering and sharing. Trained to handle high-pressure situations, allowing me to stay calm and make informed decisions in crisis situations. Kept up to date on current trends in law enforcement and paid for my own training in conjunction with Department, State and Federally mandated training.

Supervisory experience as senior officer on my team, my shift and also as the senior detective on afternoons. Experienced as a training officer and mentor for officers detectives who call me for guidance. I was also the one tasked by supervisors to deescalate upset citizens or to handle more public cases that needed to be handled with more care and attention.

I have retired due to being on blood thinners due to blood clots and can no longer safely perform my duties in the field.
