• Primary Responsibilities: Mud Mixing and Handling: Monitor and maintain the drilling fluid, or 'mud,' system to ensure proper density, viscosity, and other properties.
• Derrick Operations: Work at heights on the derrick to handle pipe or casing when tripping in and out of the well.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, clean, and repair rig equipment, including pumps, lines, and other circulation components.
• Safety Compliance: Follow and enforce all safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Pipe Handling: Assist the Driller and Floorhand in connecting and disconnecting sections of drill pipe or casing, ensuring secure handling and movement of materials.
