I initiated CPR, heimlich maneuver, bandaging and wrapping while securing lacerations and broken bones while waiting for first responders to arrive on scene; also assisting emergency medical responders with ground and flight EMS; along with administering narcan to individuals who had overdosed on Opioids. Also responding to high priority calls and remaining calm, in control, critical thinker, decision making, and continuing to assist in helping each different situation I have been dispatched, until first responders EMT/Paramedics arrive on scene. As a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), I have had to uphold a “code of conduct” which in return has made an impact on my integrity and character not only as an individual, but also as a sworn in Law Enforcement Officer.

  • I owned my own business as a Cosmetologist. I designed and created the perfect salon that was very successful. I sold an array of different hair products and accessories. I kept a full staff of 5 other licensed Cosmetologists along with myself as the business owner/ Licensed Cosmetologist. Services we offered ranged from female and male haircuts, colors, foils, waxes, perms, deep conditioning, formal updos, facials, eyelash extensions, extension installation, and many other services. I rewarded my employees for each month top sales in products along with them receiving trips including training opportunities, etc. I still have my Cosmetology license and have been a licensed Cosmetologist for 25 years. Salon 118 had top sales in products and were rewarded with discounted merchandise to fully paid training trips out of state with hotel and accommodation. Out of 10 years as a full service salon, we received 18 product top sales certificates located in the Central Arkansas location. Salon 118 was the salon I built from the ground up. Along with owning my own salon, I ran and kept inventory along with managing the finances to keep my salon successfully striving. Learning and focusing on building rapport with outside product sales representatives, merchandise customers, and clients while growing with them as they become like “family” due to them continuing to entrust their hair care needs, while leaving it in my hands to make each one of them beautiful/ handsome and unique in their own way. As a salon owner and business leader, I focused on building a strong team, providing excellent customer service, implementing effective marketing strategies, and continuously improving our services and processes, always keeping up with the new trends.
