Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including but not limited to various cable that includes twisted pair cable fiber optic, coax, as well as other low voltage cable.
- Install cable pathway's of various types and buildout telecom closets.
- Ensure proper cabling, termination, and connection of low voltage components according to industry standards and project specifications.
2. Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve issues with low voltage systems efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and proactively address them to minimize downtime.
3. Collaboration:
- Work closely with Project Managers, Customers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
4. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and additional work performed.
- Create and update technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and as-builds.
5. Customer Service:
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Provide clear explanations and demonstrations of low voltage systems to clients.
6. Compliance
- Adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing low voltage systems.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure compliance and best practices. Install, terminate, test, label, and document category 5e, 6, and 6a structured cabling.
- Clients include Publix, Rooms to Go, Baycare, Advent and Amazon.
