Responsibilities as Lead Pre-Wire Technician

• Planned pre-wiring for multiple custom residential projects, ensuring comprehensive setup for smart home technology.
• Responsible for pre-wiring smart home equipment including: speakers, televisions, alarms, etc.
• Work with various on-site contractors to ensure scheduling efficiency.
• Train newly hired technicians in accordance with company policies and practices.
• Lead small teams of 2-3 technicians in the field.
• Updated plans and bids in response to client requests for upgrades and changes, maintaining project accuracy.

Performed duties as an installer technician.

• Keeping bids up to date, assisting with system upgrades.
• Making sure that proper equipment is ordered to complete job; handling change orders.
• Contacting manufacturers & tech support when equipment turns out faulty.
• Keeping client service lists up to date.
• Installing, & servicing smart home equipment including shades, TV, cameras, alarm equipment, smart lighting equipment & sound systems.
• Train newly hired technicians how to properly install equipment with care.
• Coordinated with homeowners and on-site contractors to confirm satisfaction with equipment installations..
• Communicate with clients & managers to make sure jobs are completed in a timely manner.

• Maintained the outside parking lot and assisted customers with various needs.
• Provided customers with directions and resolved issues to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit.
• Kept carts stocked in the parking lot for customer use and monitored for any misplaced carts.

• Performed heavy labor duties, including ditch digging and hauling, to support timely job completion.
• Dug precise ditches to facilitate task completion for skilled workers.
