During my junior and senior years of high school, I was a drum major for my high school's 150-member marching band. I was the first junior drum major in several years, and on the first day, I had to motivate, resolve conflict, and be a strong problem-solver and decision-maker. I was also a section leader my sophomore year. That year, I was one of two sophomores on the 30-person leadership team.
