I am one of 2 Maintenance Supervisors for our manufacturing plant in Urbandale. I help oversee a team of 13 team members across 1st and 2nd shift.

I do the work order planning/scheduling, as well as oversee preventative and reactive maintenance, SAP Parts/Inventory, and the majority of all plant contractor work. Ensuring all work at the facility is executed with maximum efficiency assisting and working together with the other departments on site driving a healthy, safe work environment.

I am currently part of of the HAZWOPER team and certified to use PAPR respirators as well as certify WAH team members, and eligible to write all work permits (except Confined Space) I have experience in high safety priority situations

• I show cars, build value in makes, models, warranties, price, and I would negotiate till agreeable figures.

• I am one of the maintenance supervisors for Tyson foods. I currently run and oversee 4 departments/crews across the the plant all 3 shifts A,B and C, 7 days a week. They are:
• Electrical Techs shop (scales & automation)
• General Maintenance on processing side
• Instruments both up and downstairs shops (harvest & processing)
• Jeep Shop (forklift maintenance)
• I orchestrated preventative maintenance, recorded downtimes, and documented equipment failures during production. I order parts, tools, and equipment for my departments working with different vendors and manufacturers always efficient in cost savings. I also will get down and dirty with my mechanics/techs when it’s a big job or a learning opportunity for them etc. but I tend to try and not be too involved. Usually it’s to help diagnose equipment they are having trouble with. I am the youngest supervisor in the entire plant as well as the only supervisor who is forced to oversee more than 1 department. I do it successfully but it’s affecting my home life.

• I perform daily preventative maintenance as well as repairs. Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. Since Siegwerk manufactures ink a lot of my daily is involved with plumbing. I can thread pipe and install it etc.

• Door to Door sales offering excellent cleaning and customer service and if the customer was interested in the product I demonstrated they would purchase the Kirby vacuum from me.

• I fix heavy duty industrial machinery on the daily. I perform day to day maintenance under pressure. I have accomplished. Time management, trouble shooting, communication, dedication, team work and many more things. I am a successful employee

• I cooked food and cleaned the kitchen. I counted drawers and managed inventory records.
