Dylan Deas

My role at Mapei has helped to foster several critical skills required for the manufacturing industry in several different aspects of the business.

• Production: I have assisted in production scheduling to ensure the correct product is produced for orders on hand. I have helped to facilitate the production process for the Dalton admixture plant by ensuring that the product is made properly with the proper materials. At the end of the process, I assure that the finished product is properly packaged and stored.
• EHS: I have experience in industrial stormwater, inspections, incident investigation, recycling, chemical safety, fire safety, forklift safety, and hazard communication. I participated in the Soter Back Safety Device Pilot Program. I have also been a part of the 2024 EHS committee.
• Shipping and Receiving: I follow daily procedures when it comes to preparing orders to be shipped, and receiving materials used in day-to-day production.
• Quality Control: When it comes to testing finished products, I follow all procedures in accordance with company and ISO standards.

• Secured loads on pallets to minimize damage and worker injuries.
• Adhered strictly to all safety protocols when driving forklift at high speeds through tight spaces.
• Employed hand signals to communicate effectively with coworkers operating transport vehicles and direct movements from floor.
• Provided assistance with physical inventories as needed.
• Estimated weights, heights, and centers of balance to make precise placements.
• Operated forklift safely and efficiently throughout entire shift according to company guidelines and OSHA regulations.

• Followed daily preventive maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• Set up and operated production machinery according to specific standards and protocols of company.
• Attached identification labels to finished packaged items or stamped lot number and shipping destination information on containers.
• Staged finished products in preparation to be shipped
