Dylan Howell

I plan to seek and maintain a full-time position as a graduate student in Fashion Studies at Parsons School of Design. I Look to take advantage of the professional challenges offered by the program while utilizing interpersonal skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills. I am a detail-oriented student with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.

• I am currently majoring in History at Michigan State University.
• I am currently minoring in Jewish Studies at Michigan State University.
• I have held a position on the Dean's List for six semesters at Michigan State University.

• Writer for Michigan State University's student-led fashion magazine VIM, in which I dissect different fashion genres and write on their influence within different disciplinary fields.
• Member of Michigan State University's History Scholars Program, in which only the highest ranking students within the Department of History are allowed to participate in one-on-one sessions with professors, alumni, and other scholars in their concentration of study. Students in the program gain expert advice and guidance for success in their field.

• I strive to graduate with my Master's in Fashion Studies from Parsons School of Design.
• I plan to continue my writing of different fashion genres through either personal medium or professional business.
• Expanding my foreign language abilities in areas such as Italian and French.
• I plan to pursue a professional degrees such as a PhD in American history with a concentration in fashion.
• I plan to become familiar with the professional aspects of teaching and writing about Fashion Studies.
