My first semester at St. Lawrence was spent abroad on the London FYP. As a first year student being abroad could sometimes be difficult, but the chance to be independent helped me to grow as a student and person. While abroad I learned how to manage my time properly, advocate for myself when I needed help, and I also learned how to navigate living in a city for the first time.
