Daily responsibilities include going through a team huddle and describing what needs to be done, we are then either told what our responsibilities are or pick what jobs we do for the day. I am also in charge of keeping people on track and delegating work where applicable while also performing my duties. A big part of what I do is to understand and make decisions based on the little information that is given to me and find a reasonable way to perform them without violating safety standards.

• Performed various carpentry tasks such as constructing walls, installing doors, windows and siding.
• Followed blueprints or engineering plans to determine the best methods of assembling structures.
• Addressed and resolved on-site problems to keep teams on-task and avoid development of larger concerns.
• Utilized two-way radios and hand signals to coordinate communication between equipment operators.
• Signaled equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement or adjustment of machinery.

• Administered medications and vaccinations or arranged for veterinarians to provide extensive treatment.
• Assisted with maintenance and repair activities to keep buildings and equipment in safe and proper condition.
• Assisted in the preparation of soil for planting by tilling and plowing fields.
• Watered and fed livestock and cleaned pens and enclosures to maintain farm animal health.
• Used all-terrain vehicles to patrol expansive land holding, pastures, and grazing areas to monitor animal activities.
• Organized new stock arrivals by size, color, and age to facilitate health examinations and breeding programs.
• Repaired buildings, fences, and other pertinent structures to keep animals properly contained.
• Performed general maintenance tasks around the farm, including repairing fences and buildings.
• Drove trucks and tractors to distribute feed to animals.
