A study of Classical philosophy found in Catholic Theology with a focus on a transcendent and mystic interpretation of Classical and Neoclassical philosophers (major focus on Plato) and Catholic doctrine to answer the question of why Catholicism does not have a non-heretical mystic institution (one akin to the Kabbalah found in Judaism and Sufism found in Islam).
