Accomplishments

    Current leader of the most active police bureau in the Operations Division, as defined by key performance indicators.

    Returned the Millbrae Bike Rodeo following a several year hiatus, resulting in a tremendously successful community engagement event that reached approximately 100 Millbrae families and engaged numerous law enforcement and community-based stakeholders.

    Tasked as Sheriff's Office SFO Operations and Mobile Field Force Commander during the Asian Economic Cooperation Conference, directing Sheriff's Office and allied agency resources in support of San Francisco International Airport operations.

    Managed community outreach and information sharing in several high-profile Millbrae events including a well-known local teacher accused of inappropriate conduct with students and a serial sexual assault suspect.

    As the Investigations Bureau Commander, successfully led a joint effort of the Sheriff’s Office, the Redwood City Police Department, and the Emerald Lakes community to keep a Sexually-Violent Predator from relocating to Emerald Lakes. Personally made contact with 900+ community members via phone or email to give the community a voice and work collaboratively.

    As the Administrative Lieutenant for the Maguire Correctional Facility, oversaw the Request For Purchase (RFP) process and contract negotiations for both Inmate Phone Services and Commissary for the Corrections Division, two multi-million dollar contracts.

    Created Sheriff's Office Crowd Control Curriculum and coordinated training for the entire Sheriff's Office line staff in preparation for Superbowl 50.

    Represented the Sheriff's Office SWAT Team and San Mateo County Terrorism Counter Assault Team in the 2014 Warrior Competition in Amman, Jordan.
