Voices Against Violence Initiative: The Gender Based Violence Global Initiative

  • Project Point of Contact (POC) for Department of State (DoS), Department of Human Rights and Labor (DRL) Applied Learning team
  • Developed and presented learning agenda in line with DRL's learning standards on extreme forms of gender-based violence for programmatic staff use and program improvement
  • Designed evaluation methods for gender-based violence urgent response mechanisms
  • Using Salesforce developed monthly, semi-annual and quarterly progress reports presented to DRL
  • For data collection and data management purposes, developed performance indicator tracking templates used by US government funded grass-root partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, South &Central Asia, Middle East and North Africa regions
  • Using Alchemer designed and analyzed base-line & end-line surveys as well as needs assessments to inform program decision making
  • Managed 2 external evaluations as well as third party monitoring evaluation in Iraq and Honduras aiming to eradicate extreme gender-based violence for vulnerable communities such as Yazidi survivors
