Involved working on different settings such as Intensive Care Unit, General Floors and in the Outpatient Department. Guided and taught my other residents and medical students during different rotations. Had admitting rotations each year. Each resident was assigned to admit 4 patients in each 8-hour shift. Run codes while working on General floors. Attend conferences, educational lectures and prepare educational activities for my colleagues.
Taught Molecular and Cell Biology to young adults who were pursuing to get admitted to Medical School at the National University of Asuncion. Gave lectures, prepare multiple choice tests and tutored them about topics related to Biology.
This was a virtual observership in the Infectious Disease Department at the Jackson Memorial Hospital. Participated in table rounds with Infectious Disease Fellows and Attendings, in which patients’ charts were shared to us and treatments were discussed. Participated at “noon conferences”, in which different Infectious Disease topics were discussed. I also did an oral presentation about soft tissue infections.
