Edward Blacklock

As an aircraft fueler, I am responsible for safely fueling aircraft and making sure they have the proper amount of fuel before departure. I follow safety procedures, operate fueling equipment, and communicate with ground crews and other airport personnel to help keep flights running safely and on time.

As a United Airlines Store Keeper, I was responsible for managing aircraft parts, tools, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory. I also served as a lead, helping guide team members and keep daily operations running smoothly. In addition, I was part of the safety team, where I helped promote safe work practices and ensure employees followed proper safety procedures.

At a UPS Fulfillment Center, I was responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, scanning, and organizing packages. I helped ensure packages were handled accurately and moved efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

At an Amazon Fulfillment Center, I was responsible for receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and organizing customer orders to ensure they were processed accurately and efficiently. As a Lead, I helped guide team members, assigned tasks, monitored productivity, assisted with resolving issues, and helped maintain a safe and organized work environment.

am currently working toward earning my FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate. I am building my knowledge and hands-on skills in aircraft maintenance, including general aviation fundamentals, airframe systems, and powerplant systems. My goal is to complete my training, gain the required experience, and become a qualified aircraft mechanic.

I was a dedicated student at Klein Forest High School who maintained a 3.5 GPA and was recognized as a top honorary student for three consecutive years. Beyond academics, Edward was devoted to serving and supporting his community, demonstrating leadership, commitment, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on those around him.
