- Developed dual credit pathway opportunities for 9 career-based programs of study at Bond Wilson Technical Center.
- Established work-based learning paid internships at Bond Wilson Technical Center, Kirtland High School, and Shiprock High School; fortified with mentorship, guidance, and student growth.
- Procured a $100,000 grant with Extending Equity into the Digital Workforce to support our San Juan College dual credit IT certification program, to purchase technology, support academic field trips, pay for certification testing and fund internships for school years 23-24 and 24-25.
- Leveraged a grant procured by the Three Rivers Education Foundation to utilize our students in the BWTC Construction program and Habitat for Humanity, in October SY 24-25 the first cohort will pay our students up to $1,000 per month for their work.
- Secured a key partnership with San Juan Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and our Pre Nursing Programs, SJRMC offered all 11 of our Certified Nurse's Assistant candidates, employment post graduation in May of 2024.
- Cultivated a positive work environment that fostered positive teacher and student engagement, increased student enrollment by 170%, and boosted overall school morale.
- Collaborates with Navajo Technical University (NTU) in development of our Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and CAD dual credit pathways, NTU has committed to $400,000 worth of lab improvements to create industry standard hands on experiences in electronics, metal additive 3-D printing, manual machining, and CAD design.
