Edward Nakada

Hacienda Heights,CA

Summary

I instructed and tutored PADI certification courses in SCUBA diving from beginners to profession level. I learned to adapt my teaching skills to a wide range of personalities and needs. I've taught and guided clients from ages 8 to 80 in safe diving practices, enjoyment of diving and the importance of conservation while exploring our underwater environment.

During my time at Snowbird I recruited, trained and managed a staff of approximately 150 staff. My staff encompassed a wide range of ages, ethnicities and cultures. Managing them to a cohesive team striving and achieving our goals of safety and a high level of guest satisfaction.

In both careers I interacted with a multitude of age groups, cultural experiences and ethnicities requiring me to be very flexible and adaptable to everyone's success.
