A hard worker with good ethics determined and dedicated to do tasks given out. Ready for any kind of challenge, problem, or task given and will complete them on time in an efficient and professional manner. Willing to work with others and even capable of taking lead if necessary to get the job done.
As a truck driver I handled both Company Truck Driving and Contracter Truck Driving. During my time with the company side I not only was expected to constantly be aware of the road infront of me and my surroundings, drive in a safe and professional manner and maintaining good MPG's for fuel effeciency, be able to follow instructions/ directions, plan my days of work aswell as managing my time for my shifts, follow DOT regulations and guidelines for not only driving safe but also making sure my vehicle and equipment was safe and up to code, backing into docks with a 53 foot reefer trailer aswell as coupling and uncoupling from it, filling out neccesary paperwork, and finally completing my jobs safely and effeciently. I drove both during the day and night, through snow, storms, mountains, and I have been to most of the states in our country.
As a Contracter I not only was expected to do all of the tasks above, but also manage paying for fuel as cheap as I could and enough to complete the trip. Not only did I do so, but I was able to turn a profit on purchasing fuel aswell. I was incharge of making sure I was getting loads to keep my workflow consistent as I was essentialy my own boss, and paid for a truck note for the truck I was using to maintain safe operations.
My tasks involved serving guests, employees, and others nutritional food while keeping them aware of the ingredients inside incase of allergies and/or choice not to eat, keeping stock of current items inside of coolers as well as snacks and drinks, running the cash register as well as closing the till and counting the money every night, and cleaning up my workstations and making sure all food is tagged and put away neatly and organized. On occasion there are times where I even go as far as to aid the cooks by prepping foods, making sandwiches and desserts for out front, or helping make simple foods like french fries, and setting up silverware and other items to prepare to serve food.
Duties involved making sure all dishes were cleaned properly in a time and efficient manner, ensuring my work area was cleaned, handling of taking out trash and cardboard, and aiding others in the kitchen such as smaller tasks like lifting heavy items or mopping an area. While opening, I am tasked with making sure the machine was operating as it should, prepping the dish room for the day, and handling food deliveries. At night, tasks involved clearing and cleaning the dish room, and setting it up for the opening shift the next day.
Duties involved upkeep of the area, ensuring all enclosures were secure and clean, maintaining that everything was up to date, construction and/or maintenance of anything that may be damaged, food preparation, and giving tours of the animal residents while giving information and answering questions anyone had.
